The Many And The One
The many is the darkness
By which the One can be concealed.
The many is the brightness
By which the One can be revealed.
By our faith does the many become bright and
meaningful.
By our faithlessness does the many become dark and
meaningless.
For without faith, there is only the many,
With faith, there is only the One.
When there is only the One,
The physical is the external manifestation of the One.
The spiritual is the internal manifestation of the One.
When there is only the One,
Our thoughts are directed solely towards God.
Our heart is a mirror by which the Divine is reflected inward.
When there is only the One,
Our consciousness dwells in God.
Our heart is a projector by which the Divine is emanated outward.
Every Divine quality present for us in the many,
The mirror reflects inward,
And the projector radiates outward.
Know that Divine essence is manifested through attribute.
Understand that the One is veiled by the many.
See God in all creatures, in everything.
When there is only the One.
There is only the One.
Only the One.
One.
