The Pipe

The Encircling Light of En Sof,
The Or En Sof,
Always is
And is forever imparting.

We receive this light through
The motion of a straight pipe.

Our desire to receive governs
The opening on the end of the pipe
Pulling in the unrevealed light.

Our desire to share governs
The opening on the end of the pipe
Pushing out the manifested light.

When our primordial intent
Is a desire to receive in order to impart,
The pipe moves through the light
Which always is
And the manifested light pushed out
By the relative motion of the pipe
Equals the unrevealed light pulled in.
All is in balance.

When our primordial intent
Is a desire to receive for ourself alone,
The pipe moves through the light
Which always is
And the manifested light pushed out
By the relative motion of the pipe
Is less than the unrevealed light pulled in.

The imbalance of inflow and outflow
Causes an explosive positive pressure to build up in the pipe.
After the pressure builds up beyond a certain point,
The pipe fissures.
The unrevealed light which leaks out
Feeds the external forces.

The explosive pressure inside the pipe manifests inside of us
As an emotional turmoil and an agitated mind
In a realm where desire is king.

With the exiting end of the pipe restricted
And explosive pressure built up on the inside of the pipe,
The amount of light entering the pipe
Eventually becomes restricted.
And our desire to receive itself becomes weakened.

When our primordial intent
Is a desire to share,
The manifested light pushed out
By the relative motion of the pipe
Is greater than the unrevealed light pulled in.
The imbalance of inflow and outflow
Causes a negative pressure or vacuum to build up in the pipe
And this draws more of the unrevealed light into the pipe.

When the entering end of the pipe is restricted,
And a vacuum builds up on the inside of the pipe,
The pressure differential eventually draws
More of the unrevealed light into the pipe.
And our desire to receive itself becomes strengthened.
