Kabbalistic Welcome

1

ברוך הבא בשם יהוה
Blessed be the one who comes in the name of the Lord;

ברכנוכם מבית יהוה
We bless you from the house of the Lord

(Psalm 118:26.)

שלום עליכם
Peace, completeness, and well-being unto you.

What means name of the Lord?
The Name of the Lord is a code
For the manifestation of the Immanence of God.
So

You who come in the name of the Lord

Means

You who manifest God Immanent,
You in whom we can see God Immanent,
We bless you from the house of the Lord.

What means house of the Lord?

From our souls which are sparks of God above,
From God Transcendent who is part of each of us,
From the center of our being,
From the house of the Lord,
We bless you.

So the blessing comes from God Transcendent,
That part of God Transcendent,
Who operates through and above us,
Who to you manifests as God Immanent,

שלום עליכם
Peace, completeness, and well-being unto you.

When a Jew meets a Jew, the greeting is

שלום עליכם
Peace, completeness, and well-being unto you.

And the reply is

עליכם שלום
Unto you, Peace, completeness, and well-being.

The Blessing,
Peace, completeness and well-being unto you,
Do I receive
And transform:
Elevating it,
And directing it back to you as,
Unto you, peace, completeness, and well-being.

So now there is complete symmetry,
From one to the other:
From peace, completeness and well-being
To peace completeness and well-being.

3

שלום עליכם
Peace, completeness, and well-being unto you.

This is Shabbat.
For on Shabbat we cease
Activities that fill our consciousness
With a worldly business.

On Shabbat we fill our consciousness with
Peace, Completeness, and Well-being.
On Shabbat we remove from our spirit,
The constraints and limitations,
Imposed by the physical aspects of the material world.
Shabbat, we make a delight to our soul!

שלום עליכם
Peace, completeness, and well-being unto you.
